Introduction
Welcome to Merava Travels. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By
accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Merava Travels is a registered travel agency providing domestic and international tour packages,
travel arrangements, and related services.
Booking Terms
All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by Merava Travels. The following terms apply
to all reservations:
- Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total package cost
is required at the time of booking.
- Balance Payment: Full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure
for domestic tours and 45 days for international tours.
- Documentation: Passport copies, photographs, and other required documents must
be submitted within specified timelines.
- Booking Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of deposit and
required documents.
- Name Changes: Name changes may be permitted with applicable fees and subject to
airline/operator policies.
Important Notice
Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed. Final pricing will be
confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be made in writing to our office. Refunds are subject to the following
cancellation charges:

Note on Refunds
Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 15-30 working days. Bank charges and
processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
Additional Terms & Conditions
Please review the following important conditions applicable to all bookings:
- Rates are valid for Indian citizens only.
- Reconfirmation procedures can be done only after receiving the payment.
- Unused services for transfers, tours & hotel accommodations are non-refundable.
- Standard Check-in time is 14:00 hrs and Check-out is 12:00 hrs (may vary as per local rules).
- Merava Travels reserves the right to alter, amend, change or modify the tour package and
itineraries before or during the tour. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
- If such changes occur during the tour, our local representative will inform you. Your
cooperation in accepting such changes is appreciated.
- Changes may occur due to factors beyond our control such as force majeure events including
flight delays, cancellations, weather conditions, etc.
- We shall not be responsible or liable to provide any refund or compensation for such changes.
- Porterage, Beverages, and Laundry expenses are caused by factors beyond our control like flight
delays, roadblocks, vehicle malfunctions, political disturbances, natural calamities, etc.
- Airline/room upgrades and complimentary services are not guaranteed and will not be entertained
during the tour.
- If any pre/post tour deviation is required, it must be informed at the time of booking.
Last-minute changes will not be accepted.
- Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle during the tour.
- The company will not be responsible for loss of valuables from the vehicle.
- If the vehicle is damaged by the guest (accidentally or otherwise), compensation must be paid to
the transport provider.
- If the hotel room is damaged (intentionally or accidentally), the guest must pay the charges
directly to the hotel before checkout.
- Triple Accommodation: Maximum three persons per room. Usually includes one
queen-size bed or two beds with an extra rollaway/cot.
- Double/Twin Accommodation: A double room may have a queen-size bed or twin
beds. Bed type is subject to availability.
Important Note
All services and facilities are subject to availability and local regulations. Guests are
expected to comply with all travel and accommodation rules.
Travel Documents & Insurance
It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure all travel documents are valid and meet the
requirements of the destination country.
- Passport Validity: Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return
for international travel.
- Visa Requirements: Travelers are responsible for obtaining necessary visas. We
provide assistance but cannot guarantee visa approval.
- Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel
insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage loss.
- Health Requirements: Some destinations require specific vaccinations. Consult
your physician before travel.
Responsibilities & Liabilities
Merava Travels acts as an intermediary between travelers and various service providers. Our
responsibilities are limited as follows:
- We are not responsible for acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, transport operators, or other
service providers.
- We shall not be liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from accidents, natural disasters,
political unrest, or other force majeure events.
- We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to operational requirements, weather conditions,
or other factors beyond our control.
- Travelers are responsible for their conduct and must comply with local laws and customs of
visited countries.
Force Majeure
Merava Travels shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond
reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or
government restrictions.
Privacy & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information is collected and used in
accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We collect necessary information for booking purposes and to provide travel services.
- Your data may be shared with airlines, hotels, and other service providers as required for
travel arrangements.
- We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.
- By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as described in
our Privacy Policy.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services shall be governed by the following terms:
- Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of India.
- Jurisdiction: Courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any
disputes.
- Complaints: Please submit any complaints in writing within 30 days of tour
completion.
- Mediation: We encourage resolving disputes through mediation before pursuing
legal action.
Amendments to Terms
Merava Travels reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective
immediately upon posting on our website.
Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We
recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
